As this website continues to evolve, I am now adding in my work in plant-related topics. I am working on a certificate in Historic Preservation with an emphasis on preserving historic gardens. I have been organizing and facilitating a book club focused on garden\/plant-related books since June 2019. Read more about the book club under the Botanical Bibliophile<\/a> tab. I also post thoughts about this and that<\/a>, mostly plant related thises and thats at the moment on a random basis.<\/p>\n

I have been photographing since 1976 and completed a BFA with honors in Art Studio at the University of New Mexico (December 2015). \u00a0I am also trained as a biomathematician and have worked in environmental health with an emphasis on the human health effects of inhaled air pollutants.<\/p>\n

Many people believe that art and science are opposites but my experience is otherwise. To excel in science or art one must have a creative concept and the discipline and technical knowledge to implement that vision.<\/p>\n
